Jackson Hole & Swan Valley
We went to Jackson Hole and Swan Valley for Labor Day weekend and the landscape was beautiful! The views were absolutely amazing. The rivers were full and moving rapid, the hunters were also out so there wasn't much for siting wildlife on this trip. Occasionally we'll run into a moose, elk or deer but this trip was full of squirrels and chipmunks.

Duck Park
Grace and Da Da Feeding the ducks. Grace has a very mild case of the chicken pox and has been quarantined to the house mainly but we had to let her out in a secluded park that's rarely used so she could get some vitamin D and keep her sanity. Poor thing.
This was a pretty cool goose we saw when we were feeding the ducks

Cinco de Mayo!
Let's just say pictures were rather hard with Grace this morning. She had her own idea of what she wanted to spend her time doing. I'll try again tonight. Auntie Brenda sent this dress out and since Grace is of Mexican heritage we had to make sure she represented. I think she looks adorable!
Cinco de Mayo
This Mexican holiday celebrates the victory of 4,000 Mexican soldiers against 8,000 French forces on the morning of May 5, 1862. A common misconception is that Cinco de Mayo celebrates Mexico's Independence Day. That day is in fact September 16th.
The battle of Cinco de Mayo took place at the town of Puebla, 100 miles east of Mexico City. According to Viva Cinco de Mayo, the French army attacked Mexico City, assuming that the Mexican army would surrender if their capital city was taken

Chick-fil-A Strikes Again!
Grace & Samantha have started to have playdates once a week. I like the Chick-fil-A playground because it's super friendly for their young ages. Tonight Samantha was a non-fearing dare devil that rode the slide like there was no tomorrow. Grace, on the other hand, played it safe on level ground. She still won't go down the slide. One of these days!
